It’s me, Ann. Before we get into what’s coming up…I have lots of thank yous!
Our event at the Press Club with Tennessee Watson on April 24 was so powerful, and we are so grateful to Tennessee for making the trip to come share her reflections on ten years of Silent Evidence. There are only a few days left in sexual assault awareness month, I highly encourage you to take a listen to this documentary series if you have not already, and to share with your networks. Tennessee has also compiled resources for survivors here.
We also could not make this event happen without the generous help of Colorado Press Women and of course the Denver Press Club. We are lucky to have such great partners!
On tap for the next few months:
- We are hosting another podcast people meetup at Town Hall on Tuesday, May 19! RSVP here, the more the merrier.
- We are noodling on hosting a gathering sometime in July to listen to audio works in progress! You should tap us if…
- You have a work in progress and you are dying to receive some feedback! We need at least 3-4 brave souls
- You have a venue in mind for where we could hold this. We have some ideas, but if you have the scoop on a free gathering space with a sound set up that enables group listening….let us know! Turns out there aren’t a lot of those!
