July 21 - ColoRadio Listening Party

Hi friends,

It’s me, Ann. As I write this, I am in the sweaty armpit of South Carolina visiting my parents. I’ll let them know you say hi. 👋🏼

Thanks so much to everyone who was able to make it to our last meetup in May! It was lovely to see some new faces at Town Hall this time around. If you couldn’t make it, stay tuned for another get-together towards the end of the summer. Warning: it’s likely to occur during Virgo season when I am at the absolute height of my powers.

Our next gathering is something the masses have been clamoring for: a listening party! We’ll get together on July 21 at 6pm at The Company. We are very grateful to ColoRadioHeads Ivan and Madeleine for sharing this space so we can gather to listen to some works in progress. Would you like to share something you’re working on? In other exciting news, we’re planning to start offering some virtual gatherings towards the end of this year, as a way of opening up more spaces for audio creators all over the state. What would you like to see? Better yet, would you be interested in co-hosting an event with us? Respond to this email and let us know.

Lastly, a plug for the Association of Independents in Radio, because Josh will be hosting a Virtual Water Cooler on June 30 about fostering a DIY audio movement! I hope you can make it to this much-needed convo.
